Shwashwi: When bad hair happens to good people

Johannesburg – Since hair is such a topical issue and we still miss musician Cassper Nyovest’s ponytail we checked out celeb styles that make us shake our heads.

Comedian Mpho Popps is a case of bad hair happening to good people, we are not sure if the high top is part of his comedy routine but it definitely causes laughter.

Flamboyant choreographer, Somizi Mhlongo is known for his controversial outfits and hairstyles but we never thought he would impersonate a scrubbing brush, or is it a giant toothbrush on his head?

We love singer, Moonchild’s hair as it must be so practical during this chilly weather, the vibrant blue is always a great pop of colour in this grey and cold weather.

Singer Zandie Khumalo is a beauty and we forgive her attempt at looking like Top Deck chocolate. Maybe it’s stress.

Great that DJ Zinhle has recently launched a Wig range and one hopes she will befriend Rebecca Malope and help Somizi to up his game.

We appreciate Dj Sbu’s entrepreneurial spirit but need him reminded that a proper stylist is required for dreadlocks. He often looks bewildered.

With all the drama in singer Zahara’s life we understand why the plaits are plaited and not a distraction. We love it and hope all works out.

We are very disappointed by Dr Zweli Mkhize and believe some hair might enduce some sense as clearly the bald is not helping him with his career or try a wig.

Can Minister Fikile Mbalula please dye his hair, we have changed our minds and believe you deserve it.

We love Minister Lindiwe Zulu’s hairstyles but worry that too much chemical leads to permanent damage, but hey, you are the Minister. A change is a good as a holiday, they say.
