Woo, but presidential spokesperson Khuselo Diko is on the ball. She apparently persuaded President Cyril Ramaphosa to no longer start his Covid-19 addresses with “fellow South Africans”, and suggested “compatriots” instead… disappointing the meme makers who say the former line spells bad news. Shwa had a good laugh.
President Cyril Ramaphosa is indeed a national blesser. Shwa was shocked to the bone when the man announced that he was blessing, not only baby mamas and grannies, but baby daddies too, during this financially challenging lockdown. Shwa just wishes these billions would be used for what they are intended for: to buy groceries and support families, and not for people to booze their lockdown sorrows away.
