Local gospel musician Malibongwe Gcwabe has died, at the age of 55.
The founder of Ramnant Ministries is believed to have suffered an asthma attack and was rushed to Cecilia Makhiwane Hospital where he died.
In a single sentence, his daughter Agape Gwabe announced the passing of her father on her Facebook account.
“So my dad just died, jaa ne,” reads her Facebook post. Tributes from fans and friends poured in on social media on Wednesday.
“Just received sad news now, Dr Malibongwe Gcwabe is no more, rest in peace gospel giant, it was a heart attack,” wrote Gcwabe’s fellow gospel musician Andile B.
