Ama Qamata, who plays the role of Puleng on Netflix’s much-anticipated series Blood and Water, is excited about the new season of the series.
Qamata told Sunday World that she thinks in this season Puleng has grown and owned up to her mistakes and wil now try to do right by people.
“This season you can definitely count on Puleng to get to the bottom of something, she is still very much a detective at heart,” she said.
The former Gomora actress said this new season of Blood and Water is fast-paced and action-packed. She added that one of the challenges she has had with playing the role of Puleng is trying to understand the way she goes about solving a problem.
As a performer, you should be able to tap into different emotions that you are required to portray and Qamata said she does this by trusting her instincts.
“I think this season fans will enjoy seeing Puleng really trying to redeem herself. I think the audience will see that her heart has always been in the right place.”
Qamata said the biggest difference between her and Puleng is that her character is more impulsive than she is.
Season three’s Blood and Water is set to launch on 25 November and the new season comes with fresh tension and drama with hidden secrets and mysteries.
