Television and radio personality Mthokozisi Cele, popularly known as MaBlerh, said hosting the Real Housewives of Durban reunion feels like he is married to eight women who are all constantly fighting.
“I left them in KZN, once a year I come home to mediate. Our children (you guys on Twitter) are divided. Some believe I am an amazing dad and some hate me,” he wrote
The first part of the reunion aired on Wednesday and fans were left divided, with some accusing MaBlerh of taking sides and not being brutal in asking the relevant questions.
Some praised him for doing an okay job. While others thought he was just retweeting comments made by fans of the show on social media platform X.
Controversial topics
Some of the topics that were touched during the reunion were Angel Ndlela claiming that she was in a happy relationship and planning to have kids with her then boyfriend.
Ndlela refuted claims that she was lying and also explained that she has businesses of her own.
She also added that Zama Ngcobo had been misinformed by sources close to her regarding her life.
Ngcobo explained what had happened between her and Sorisha Naidoo. She said she would rather put their relationship on ice.
There were also jabs and compliments on people’s fashion sense. And Sorisha Naidoo explaining that her designer wanted to go all out this season. Slee Ndlovu said she did not care what people think about her fashion sense. What looks good on someone else might not be the same for the other, she said. She also shared in the early episodes of the season that she has started a fashion label.
Slee also shared that she did not understand why certain people would say she practices witchcraft. Just because she burnt sage when they had gone on holiday to the Drakensburg.
Nonku Williams
Jojo Robinson was praised by MaBlerh for doing a total 360 and being a better person this year. But she cited that Nonku Williams is known for always preaching about change every season.
Nonku expressed that she was disgusted by Slee for going behind her back to meet up with her ex-boyfriend RD. The meet-up was with the hope of getting some dirt on her. MaBlerh asked Slee what she meant when she said checkmate after the revelation on the last episode. Slee hinted that she had somehow gotten the reaction she was looking for.
