Jamie Foxx hauled before court for alleged sexual assault

American actor Jamie Foxx is in trouble after a woman filed sexual assault and battery charges at the New York State Supreme Court this week.

According to reports, the alleged incident took place eight years ago at Catch NYC, a popular New York City restaurant.

The woman, who has been identified as Jane Doe, says in the court papers that Foxx intentionally and without consent used force to offensively touch her.

Complainant seeks unspecified amount

The papers further state that Foxx groped the woman’s breasts and genitals and that he seemed to be intoxicated at the time of the incident.

“At one point, Foxx roughly grabbed the plaintiff’s phone out of her hand and took additional photographs,” read the court papers in part.

“Foxx then made several comments to the plaintiff including ‘wow, you have that supermodel body; you smell so good, and you look like Nickie’.

“When the plaintiff asked who’s Nickie, Foxx replied: Gabrielle Union. Foxx proceeded to grab the plaintiff by her arm and pulled her to the back area of the rooftop.”

The complaint states that the woman suffered and continues to suffer physical and emotional injuries, anxiety, distress, embarrassment and economic harm.

She seeks an unspecified amount.

The plaintiff is also suing the restaurant company, Catch Hospitality Group, and various related business entities for negligent hiring, training and supervision.

P Diddy slapped with lawsuit
Last week, American rapper Sean Combs, professionally known as P Diddy, was slapped with a lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend Cassie.

Cassie accused the P Diddy of rape and abuse. The two dated from 2007 to 2018.

In the lawsuit, Cassie says her ex allegedly repeatedly raped, physically abused her, and forced her to have sex with male prostitutes as he watched and masturbated in what he allegedly called a “freak off”.

The lawsuit was settled in just 24 hours after being filed and Cassie said she had decided to resolve the matter amicably.

P Diddy’s lawyer stated at the time that this was not an admission of guilt by his client.
