Skeem Saam actress Innocent Inno Sadiki revealed on Monday that her home had burnt down to ashes. Sadiki shared that although her home had burnt down, nobody was injured and did not share the cause of the fire which led to the fire.
“From what we called our home, we now have nothing. Our House burnt down today. Lord, you are still our God,” wrote Sadiki.
Sadiki who is also an ordained pastor shared a sermon that she recorded a night before the fire.
“I recorded this message. Not knowing that my family is about to experience a literal fire. Everything about this message was a preparation. God speaks! I just did not know it would be for us. Here we are in July declaring.”
She further thanked her followers, friends and family for their support and kindness.
“We are literally starting from zero. The response has been overwhelming. We appreciate and love you. We managed to get pyjamas and toiletries for the kids thanks to our friends. Please keep praying for us. One day at a time.”
Her twin sister Millicent Mashile shared that their kids, her sister and husband were fine by the grace of God.
“Kulungile Baba even in the storm, let us help the Sadiki family, in anyway possible. Also let’s continue to pray for them,” wrote Mashile.
Earlier this year Sadiki revealed that their church At The Valley branch in Mooikloof, Pretoria, had closed down. On 25 February, the congregation held their last service in their building they have been occupying since 2023.
This comes after they were kicked out by their landlord. Sadiki shared that their last service was more emotional that she had expected it to be.
