When we talk about going through year-end fatigue, one can only imagine what the gossip girl is going through at this time of the year.
Shwa headed out to Artistry in Sandton on Thursday, the venue which seems to be the go-to venue for everyone launching events these days.
It was a celebration of Nomuzi Moozlie Mabena, who has inked a partnership with fashion retailer Factorie. If Shwa remembers correctly, it has been 11 years since she won the MTV VJ Search – and the girl has managed to stay on top of her game for the longest time.
Now you know when anything big happens in that girl’s squad they will always show up for each other, except for the other girl who we have no idea what is happening to her.
This was Moozlie’s day. Obviously, the ERA friends showed up.
DJ Zinhle and Moozlie, Shwa is just wondering if the family discount would be an exception for her. I mean everyone came out dressed in Factorie and accessorised with ERA’s signature.
I must say it is such a good marketing strategy because how else are you going to sell something that you don’t even wear yourself.

While Shwa was minding her own business, she spotted Lerato Sengadi and Bianca Naidoo, who seem to get along very well. But moi understands both went through similar situations with their late partners. Shwa is reluctant to narrow it down to seeing it as a widow’s society because Nadia Nakai also showed up and joined them.
If Shwa is being honest, Nadia does still look a bit sad in real life – not what you see on the socials.
Shwa also spotted the beautiful and down-to-earth Yolanda Vilakazi and Ms Cosmo. Ms Cosmo, that stunt you pulled by disturbing Shwa having a moment with Shwa, is it not disrespectful?
Moozlie’s parents and sister also came out to support her. I must say, I was really taken by her parents’ gesture.
By the way, Moozlie, Shwa is sure you have now healed from your relationship breakup. Any new man on the cards, or are you still looking?
The late AKA’s friends Don Design and Siya Mdluli were also at the event, not sure what they were up to. Whether they were fishing, only the man upstairs knows.
