See what happens when you use Msholozi’s maths to work out seats?
Seeing actress Phindile Gwala at parliament on Tuesday really raised eyebrows and some already claimed that the MK Party received more seats than it could fill.
This actually follows claims that the MK Party boycotted the first sitting of the National Assembly in the seventh administration because they did not have an official list of members of parliament as yet.
Anyway, all 58 seats were finally filled as members of parliament were sworn-in but worry not, Gwala was only showing face for support and not taking a seat in parliament.
Come to think of it, it would have been nice to see the visual arts space being represented in parliament because the industry has really been crying foul that it needs to be regulated.
Maybe Gugu Zuma-Ncube should have been included in the list but unlike her sister, it seems mogirl is not so interested in politics.
