Thanks for the candles at the end of GalXBoy do
You know Shwa loves tea, so she hopped onto the next event which was the official GalXBoy store launch in Rosebank last week.
Shwa expected much more as she arrived to welcome drinks and warm patrons but had her hopes too high, unfortunately. Really thought I’d spot your faves supporting a local brand, but clearly, they love Gucci more.
Owner and founder of GalXBoy, -Thatiso Dube, made a brief appearance and Shwa hoped he would welcome the guests, give a brief speech but nothing of that sort happened. He just came in and briefly spoke to “his” people and disappeared into thin air thereafter. Shwa really expected much from you, Thatiso.
Now back to the reason we are here. The store? A beautiful place with all your favourite items from GalXBoy. Shwa noticed there’s a new collection of T-shirts and can’t wait to get her hands on them. Also, the photobooth wannabe? Y’all could have done better. That cool inside didn’t do any justice. If anything, it made Shwa’s pictures hideous.
I was really excited to see Robot- Boii because in my head, he was gonna give a performance exuding with full exuberance to keep the crowd entertained. Another disappointment.
Let’s settle this for once. Is it GalXBoy or GaLxyBoy? We need a pronunciation tutorial because people will butcher your brand name. And thank you for the candles, so thoughtful of the team, seeing that we are always in the dark.
