Controversial media personality Inno Morolong missed her court appearance at the Randburg magistrate’s court on Monday because she was busy with her relocation to Cape Town.
Morolong was expected to appear in court after former Big Brother contestant Blue Mbombo and her twin sister Brown applied for a protection order against her following a social media rant.
She instead sent her lawyer with a message that she was in Cape Town for work purposes.
Morolong was due to tell the court why it should not permanently enforce a temporary order obtained by the Mbombo twins.
Two months ago, Morolong took to her Instagram page saying Blue and her sister were famous for the sake of being famous. She added that even though she understood that Blue was a good model, she spoke poor English.
Morolong also insinuated Blue slept her way to success.
The Mbombo twins applied for a protection order in June, which was granted.
The court was a hype of activity on Monday as the Mbombo twins were supported by a group of protesters who held placards with anti-bullying slogans.
The group chanted words such “Inno stop bullying us” and “bully must fall”. Blue was not immediately available for comment as her phone rang unanswered on Tuesday.
Morolong said to Sunday World that she was in the process of moving to Cape Town.
“I have been in Cape Town. I am seeing everything that is happening online … I moved to Cape Town because of business and work. My life is in danger right now,” she said.
Morolong added that she believes that the people that were protesting against her in court were hired.
“If someone can hire a whole crowd to come in court for me this person can now do whatever to bring me down. My life is in danger. The comments on the blogs are turning this into a joke but it is my life,” she added.
