Minnie Dlamini to host FNB inaugural Pop Opera Concert

Media personality Minenhle ‘Minnie’ Dlamini will be the host of the inaugural Pop Opera Concert set to take place at People’s Park Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Sunday.

This musical extravaganza will unite the KwaZulu-Natal KZN philharmonic orchestra with a stellar line-up of renowned artists, including Zakes Bantwini, Good Luck, Shekinah, DJ Le Soul, and DJ Tira.

Faye Mfikwe, FNB Chief Marketing Officer, said KZN is one of the country’s most important economic hubs and requires support given the challenges it has faced over the past few years.

“We have put together this musical experience to not only support the creative economy in their region, but bring together pop classics, contemporary and opera genres in a dazzling display of talent, passion, and community spirit. We seek to engage the community, fostering a sense of unity that encourages people from all backgrounds to come together and savour an extraordinary Sunday afternoon filled with activities and musical brilliance.”

“Through this concert, we hope to bring people together while supporting South Africa’s talent and creating an unforgettable experience for the public,” said Mfikwe.
