Watch: Zuma’s daughters and Carl Niehaus show their support for former president

Johannesburg – Following the judgment handed down by the Constitutional Court to former South African president Jacob Zuma, two of his daughters have taken to Twitter to show support for their father.

Zuma was found guilty of being in contempt of court and sentenced to 15 months in prison, the Constitutional Court’s (Con-Court) Justice Sisi Khampepe announced earlier on Tuesday morning.

If he does not hand himself in, the Minister of Police, Bheki Cele, was ordered to take any means necessary to ensure that Zuma will serve his sentence.

Duduzile Zuma, the twin sister of Duduzani Zuma took to Twitter shortly after the judgment and said, “Amandla! Just Spoke To My Father, @PresJGZuma Is In High Spirits And Has No Fear. We Have A Choice Between Serving Our Time In Jhb Or Nkandla…Of Course We Have Chosen To Be Close To Home. Lockdown Or No Lockdown We Will Escourt You To Serve Your Time.”
