South African actor and businessman Thapelo Mokoena has parted ways with Molitva restaurant to focus on other opportunities.
The Fatal Seduction movie actor announced his separation from the restaurant on his Instagram account on Wednesday.
He described his exit from the restaurant as a long overdue move.
“I am writing to formally announce my decision to withdraw as a partner from Molitva Restaurant. This choice, while not made lightly, has been long overdue,” he wrote.
Mokoena said he takes pride in curating and providing diverse lifestyle experiences that consumers have wholeheartedly embraced.
“Despite the cherished memories we have collectively fostered, evolving circumstances and a realignment of my personal priorities necessitate a reassessment of my professional commitments, particularly with Molitva Restaurant.
“I am redirecting my focus towards new opportunities that align more closely with my current goals and aspirations,” he said.
His personal brand, image and name, said Mokoena, will cease to be affiliated with the establishment in any capacity and his office will not be available for contact in relation to it.

Mokoena’s partnership with the restaurant that specialises in various Mediterranean cuisines, fresh, organic, homegrown fruits and vegetables started in 2021.
Positioned in The Cradle of Humankind, Molitva’s menu is largely centred around a range of mezze- and tapas-styled foods from various Mediterranean cuisines, but also offers those that prefer something a little more substantial, homemade pasta’s, an array of salads, a selection of grills and a variety of appetizing burgers.
