Celebrities including seasoned American actress Halle Berry and musician Justin Timberlake have weighed in on the shooting of 16-year-old Ralph Yarl.
Yarl had accidentally went to a wrong address to pick up his younger twin brother when he was shot by a white man last week, according to police.
He was shot in the head and was again pumped with bullets while lying on the floor.
Andrew Lester, 84, said he and Yarl did not exchange words before he fired through a locked glass door, noting that he thought the teen was trying to break into his property.
Lester is facing charges of felony, assault, and armed criminal action.
How it happened is chilling and really scary. Racism is alive and isn’t slowing up in America. Terrible.. 🤯🤯 pic.twitter.com/E89Y8ExeWZ

Berry called on Americans to join her in a bid to contact prosecutor Zachary Thompson and demand an immediate arrest of the culprit.
According to media reports which cited an interview with the teen’s father, Yarl was released from the hospital on Sunday.
“He continues to improve. He’s responsive and he’s making good progress,” said Paul Yarl, the father of the teenager.
