Celebrity chef Siba Mtongana, who owns a restaurant in Cape Town called Siba The Restaurant, has scooped two Luxe awards at an awards ceremony held in Johannesburg on Tuesday evening.
Mtongana won in two categories, the Best Top 10 restaurants in South Africa and the Top 10 Best Chefs in South Africa. The celebrity chef, whose establishment turned a year a few days ago, said it was an honour to be recognised at home.
“I could never not say thank you to G.O.D for sustaining us even when we met tough challenges through the unprecedented and unpredictable times with Covid-19,” she wrote.
