Don’t answer his DMs, Prince Bulo’s ex warns

An ex-girlfriend of Afrotainment producer Prince Bulo, dubbed “the Joburg swindler”, has warned women not to answer his messages on social media.

Bulo was nicknamed “the Joburg Swindler” on social media this week after another woman slapped him with a letter of demand because he allegedly swindled her out of various amounts of money after meeting her through social media.

The money was allegedly for “loans for rent, pocket money, paying for dates and an iPhone” he took from her and refuses to return.

On Friday, another ex-girlfriend, who has asked not to be named because she shares a child with the producer, became the second woman to come out and accuse Bulo of using her and dumping her.

Speaking to Sunday World, the Joburg-based woman, who is a beautician by profession,  said she regrets answering Bulo’s direct messages on Instagram over two years ago.

“So, we also met on Instagram. He sent me a DM [direct message], it was during the times of covid, and I found out we stayed on the same street, so it was easy for us to meet. Our relationship was ok,” she said.

The woman said they used to hook up and she did not think much of the relationship at the time. She said she never gave the muso money, but bought him a birthday gift, which he had requested.

“I never gave him money, except that I did buy him a birthday gift, which he asked me to, but he asked nicely,” she said. She alleges that things went South soon after she fell pregnant and notified him.

“Just soon after that I got pregnant, and by the time I found out I was pregnant we were not on speaking terms,” she said. She says she has never heard from the musician since then and wanted to warn another women to stay away from him.

Bulo declined to comment, saying his legal team was dealing with the matter.

On Tuesday, Sunday World reported that the Afrotainment music producer had been accused of being a romantic scammer after he allegedly swindled his girlfriend and popular chef, Sinethemba Mbuyazi, and dumped her.

Bulo allegedly tricked Sinethemba, popularly known as Sne Cooks, to pay for his rent, buy him groceries, solicited pocket money and made her give him her top-of-the-range iPhone, which he is refusing to return. Chef Sne gave him 14 days to pay her R22 628 which he allegedly owes.
