Gagasi FM radio presenter and comedian Felix Hlophe recently celebrated his six-year wedding anniversary with his wife Tracy Smith-Hlophe.
Hlophe and his wife Tracy got married in 2018, and they have two children together, Nala and Amile Hlophe. According to media reports, the radio DJ is also said to have four children outside of his marriage.
Marriage is a series of poor decisions and forgiveness
Taking to his social media pages, Hlophe reflected on the six years he has been married to Tracy. He shared that he believes that marriage is a series of mistakes, mishaps, poor decisions and constant forgiveness.
“We take learnings and lessons, but all in all, if you separate and explore and realise that you are meant for each other. You take people into your family, and they become privy to your worst selves kanye namahlazo asekhaya (your family flaws),” wrote Hlophe.
Hlophe further shared that he married his wife two years after they had met and said although their journey has not been easy, their union is still standing against it all.
“Marriage is one of the hardest things I have ever attempted. And yet it is the sweetest thing I have ever experienced.
Children are products of love
“It is filled with real ups and downs. Sad and very happy moments. Children become the products of your love. They strengthen it. At times you think you hate your spouse, and they feel they hate you too. You both feel there’s alternatives. Only to realise that there is actually nothing out there.”
He further added: “Kodwa we will try and be better for us and our family. To all our followers, know that we will hold the fort and stay close and not fight back. We are good people. And we will always stay good. Faults and all.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Hlophe and his wife had an intimate umembeso and umkhehlo ceremony in Pietermaritzburg.
