Ultimate House Vibe back on TV
Media personality Khanyi Mbau is expected to join the judging panel of a show that highlights the growing Mzansi party culture.
Ultimate House Vibe is making a comeback to our screens this month, confirmed Burnt Onion productions director Rethabile Ramaphakela.
“We can confirm that Ultimate House Vibe is returning for season 2 in October 2019. Over the past couple of months, Burnt Onion has been collaborating with Castle Lite to put together an enticing and exciting season 2 for all viewers. The show promises to be bigger
and better than season 1 as it premieres on the 24th of October on Mzansi Magic, channel 161,” said Ramaphakela.
However, Sunday World has learnt that Mbau has not yet signed on the dotted line and was not aware that she had made the cut.
“I auditioned for the show, yes. No one has called me yet. Are you sure about this?” she asked.
She said that she was waiting on a call from the production team to negotiate, cross-check dates and sign a contract. According to producers of the show, an official announcement will be made this week.
The show is still hosted by musician Zulu Mkhathini, formerly known as Dash from boy group Dreamteam.
A returning face to the judging table is TV personality and hype man Carpo More, while Mpho Popps is new to the judging panel.
