Ndlovu Youth Choir’s remake of ‘Man in the Mirror’ gets thumbs up

The Ndlovu Youth Choir has done the unthinkable after its remake of Michael Jackson’s Man in the Mirror video on TikTok reached a whopping 10-million views.

The choir, made up of a group of teenagers and young adults, is known around the world for taking songs from global artists such as Beyonce and Ed Sheeran and turn them into a hymn-like style unique to South Africa.

In February, the choir borrowed from the late king of pop and released a cover of his song. The choir has now released a music video to go with the feel-good tune.

The original producer of the song, Quincy Jones, and songwriter Siedah Garrett have given their thumbs up for the remake of the song.

Man in the Mirror is the second cover song that the choir has released from its upcoming album that will be available in April.
