Media personality and actress Pearl Thusi said she has made peace that Queen Sono will not be renewed. She is, however, grateful for the positive feedback on the show.
“I’ve made peace with it not being renewed but reading this also made me quite sad. But I’m so happy we entertained so many people worldwide,” she wrote.
Thusi was the lead actress in the Netflix crime drama television series.
It’s wild that I’ve never seen all this amazing feedback on #QueenSono from all over the world… I’ve made peace with it not being renewed but reading this also made me quite sad. But I’m so happy we entertained so many people worldwide. 🤍🙏🏽

The series stars South African actors such as Vuyo Dabula, Sechaba Morojele, Chi Mhende, and Mbali Mlotshwa to name a few.
