Radio presenter and podcaster Mantsoe Tsatsi has announced that she is leaving Metro FM.
Tsatsi, fondly known as Mantsoe Pout, announced through her social media accounts on Friday that she will be presenting her last show on Friday evening.
She said being with the station for the last 18 months granted her the opportunity to grow.
“With a heart full of gratitude, the time has come for me to bid the mighty Metro FM,” she wrote. To have had the privilege to ride national airwaves was definitely a dream realised, and I’ll forever be thankful to have gotten this opportunity.”
Tsatsi, who recently joined the weekend breakfast show team, further thanked her fans and listeners for their support during her broadcasting career.
“Thank you to each and every listener who opened their hearts to me and stuck with me through each and every moment, from earthquakes to some of the most prolific interviews of my career.”
She said she would be sharing her next move soon.
“I’ll be sharing what my next adventure is very soon but for today, I just wanted to give my love and appreciation to you, the listener, who keeps me going.
“To my colleagues who became very good friends, my love for you knows no bounds. We’ll continue our friendship in the streets. To the Metro FM management, thank you for this huge platform.”
Tsatsi’s departure follows that to former breakfast show host Moeti “Mo Flava” Tsiki, who left the station in March. Tsiki has since joined 947.
“The time has come for me to move on and explore other opportunities,” said Tsiki at the time.
“I have spent eight amazing years at Metro FM and I appreciate the opportunity I was given to do top-level radio and touch lives.”
