Media personality Sizwe Dhlomo believes that former Kaya 959 host Unathi Nkayi will lose her court case against the radio station.
Dhlomo, a Kaya 959 radio host, was the latest guest on L-Tido’s podcast, where he spoke about a variety of issues.
“She is going through her [Unathi] case; it has got nothing to do with me, all the best. She is likely going to lose it though; I have all the evidence on everything,” said Dhlomo.
“Every show I have ever done, I have the recordings. Every day when I do a show, I get sent a copy of it and save it in the archives.
“This is just so that if anyone comes up with something.”
Wrongful termination of contract
In April, it was revealed that Nkayi’s legal battle against the commercial radio station had gone from an arbitration process to the high court.
She is apparently suing the radio station for wrongful termination of contract.
One of the issues that Dhlomo spoke about on the podcast was Nkayi’s case, who used to work with him at Kaya 959.
In 2021, the radio station confirmed that Nkayi’s contract had been terminated, effective immediately, following an alleged verbal altercation between her and Dhlomo.
“I have some very powerful and wealthy people who have backed me up to say they are not going to allow me to not see this through.
“So, finances are not going to be my issue,” Nyayi said at the time.
War on social media
Dhlomo also spoke about his beef with Vusi Thembekwayo and their back-and-forth war on social media.
He claimed that he does not just start things on X, but that people enjoy being shrewd, and he will not let anyone approach him.
“It is not back and forth; he has not responded in a long time; I do not know if he is ducking the smoke,” Dhlomo said.
“What I can tell you is that I promised someone I respect that I was going to lay off the homie.
“If he somehow just breathes wrong, then the beef is not squashed, but for now it is squashed.”
