More info:

Between 2009 and 2019, Vivian Hlayisi has completed a number of short courses to equip herself with knowledge and skills to run a successful tourism business. Her passion for tourism stems from her love of meeting new and interesting people from different walks of life and the ability to create a dream vacation or find the perfect destination for them. Tlhari Travel was established in 2011 after she completed her certificate in tourism. The business was inspired by her dreaming of becoming an air hostess. Hlayisi is proud of the fact that Tlhari Travel has been able to secure two major corporate clients and that they will be employing five workers over the next financial year. This will bring up their number of employees to nine. The Department of Tourism has been of great help to the business. “They have assisted us in being locally and internationally recognised and trusted, as you cannot conduct business with someone who is not vetted and might not deliver. They have also helped us build relationships with companies who specialising in different destinations,” she says. The company has been ranked one of the best out of three travel agencies in Soweto.
