Skhulile Ndlovu, founding director of Encore Real Estate and co-founder of Ntaba Holdings, holds a BCom degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a postgraduate degree from Monash University. These qualifications equipped him with a diverse skill set to navigate the business landscape. At Encore Real Estate, Ndlovu specialises in property sales, marketing, technology solutions and accredited training. At Ntaba Holdings, he focuses on affordable housing development, aiming to redefine excellence in the real estate sector. Ndlovu also has a background in international investment banking, which includes stints at HSBC Bank and UBS Investment Bank. Beyond business success, Ndlovu’s contributions to community development have been significant, earning him recognition as an Obama Leader and involvement in initiatives like the Global Shapers Community and Enactus UKZN. He also formed part of the Forbes Africa Under 30 Summit in Botswana. As South Africa commemorates 30 years of democracy, Ndlovu highlights the vital role of youth-led businesses in driving economic growth, empowerment and innovation. He adds that to enhance the impact of youth-owned businesses in the future, strategic interventions are needed at various levels. “By leveraging technology and digital platforms, young entrepreneurs have been able to reach broader markets, streamline operations and scale their businesses more efficiently than ever before.
