Thobane Vumindaba is the director of LabtronicSolutions, a multimedia company specialising in graphic design, video production and photography. “Our mission is to provide creative solutions that meet the needs of our clients, whether it’s branding, content creation, or event coverage. We are committed to delivering high-quality work that exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression,” Vumindaba explains. He adds that he’s always been drawn to the creative process and the ability to capture moments that evoke emotions. “What drives my passion is the power of multimedia to change narratives, tell stories, and impact lives. I believe in the transformative potential of multimedia to inspire, inform, and connect people,” he explains. Vumindaba takes pride in the fact that he was able to expand LabtronicSolutions from a small home-based operation to a fully equipped studio space. “Another significant milestone was having one of our podcasts featured on local television, reaching a wider audience, and making an impact in the community.” He believes youth-led businesses and entrepreneurial endeavours have played a vital role in driving economic growth, empowerment and innovation in South Africa. “These ventures bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a drive for success to the market. They create job opportunities, empower communities, and contribute to the overall development of the economy. To enhance their impact in the future, strategies such as mentorship programmes, access to funding and resources, and supportive policies are essential.”
