I have been in the internal audit profession for 22 years. In 2016, I was honoured with an Excellence in Internal Audit Leadership Award by the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa. Being an auditor necessitates commitment, high levels of integrity, and the promotion and practice of an ethical culture. To maintain independence in the workplace, one requires a strong and disciplined mind. I am proud to be in a position to inspire, coach and mentor professional development in others.
