Virgina Ngobeni Rasetelo, who hails from Xihoko village Tzaneen, Limpopo, like many of her compatriots, grew up struggling to make ends meet. To overcome their poverty, Rasetelo resorted to selling snacks and sweets so that she could raise fees for her brother and herself. The effort paid dividends, enabling them to earn a decent education to sustain them. She has established a niche for herself as a radio talkshow host. She uses the platform to tackle women empowerment topics. She is the founder of the Enlightened Women Foundation, an entity that promotes women empowerment projects. The talk-show project is all about women empowerment and handpicks some of the most knowledgeable commentators, professionals and celebrities to promote the idea of women empowerment. The show was first aired in April this year, and all signs point to it making an invaluable contribution regarding women empowerment issues. The station already enjoys wide coverage with an increasing listenership.
