Ramaboea has become a symbol of hope for young girls, providing over 1 000 reusable sanitary towels through the Dignity of a Girl Child initiative, part of Alina Motene’s Princesses and Queen Project, where she plays a significant role.
Her passion, combined with dedication, has empowered 4 000 people through clothing donations to the communities of Swartruggens, Koster, Derby and Mazista.
In addition to her numerous humanitarian awards, Ramaboea has been recognised in the pageantry world and the mining sector, where she has worked as a strata control officer in the rock engineering department for the past 14 years.
“I was honoured with an award for women in mining who are making exceptional contributions to their community in 2018,” said Ramaboea.
She was also a finalist for the Woman in the Engineering & Mining Category at the Woman of Stature awards in 2024. Ramaboea lives by her motto: “driven by passion, guided by purpose”.
