Through her efforts, countless women have regained their self-esteem, setting a new standard for humanitarian work in her community.
Dinalane’s accolades include the Best Gauteng Humanitarian Award, the Gauteng GBV Award, and the UK Universal Award in London. She is also currently nominated for the Humanitarian Global Award.
She is proud that one of the GBV survivors whom she supported was graduating from a learning institution, she believes in capacitating women who have undergone severe abuses to regain and restore their dignity.
“To young women who aspire to follow in my footsteps, this path is not easy; it requires discipline, focus, passion and love,” Dinalane shared.
What distinguishes Dinalane is her exceptional ability to achieve significant results with limited resources, as she operates without external funding. She successfully manages a shelter for victims of gender-based violence and abused children.
Dinalane’s initiative helps women during their stay at the shelter and ensures that they are fully equipped to thrive independently. Her intention is to help women to sustain themselves and have a long-term impact.
