Irene Olivier is a highly esteemed philanthropist and multiple award winner, recognised for her significant contributions to youth and community development. As a strong advocate for education, she has made it a priority to secure bursaries and sponsorships for underprivileged and deserving students throughout KwaZulu-Natal.
Her agency, Irene’s Model, is a reputable and respected entity in the beauty pageant industry, known for discovering, training, managing and preparing numerous successful models, including Candice Swanepoel and 2022 Miss SA runner-up Ayanda Thabethe. With several years of experience in the makeup and beauty industry, Olivier has established herself as a leader in the field.
Through the “Introduction to Modelling and Self-Confidence” course offered at her Irene Models Academy, she has empowered many women by instilling self-confidence.
“My passion is to help others become the best version of themselves for who they are,” Olivier stated.
Olivier is also a fashion powerhouse, having produced and choreographed major fashion shows and events. She has played a key role in some of the country’s most significant fashion events.
As a staunch advocate for diversity, Olivier insists that the fashion industry must recognise and celebrate people of all shapes, sizes and abilities. For the past three decades, she has been a source of inspiration for KwaZulu-Natal’s youth, using her skills to nurture hidden talents and uplift disadvantaged communities.
