In her twenty years of experience, working for Fortune 500 companies, Motshidi has achieved notable strides that today she is referred to as an author, entrepreneur and strategist.
She is a seasoned technology professional who has worked here at home, and abroad, while in the employ of international companies such as Microsoft, HPE, Eli Lilly and Co, and Italia S.p.A, among others.
Motshidi has an astute business sense, and that’s seen in the success of her company, the Zora Group. Her career has juxtaposed from being a system developer to being a business strategist.
She holds a B-Com Informatics degree from Unisa, an MBA from MIB School of Management in Trieste, Italy, and several industry certifications. She was the anchor host of the show “The Digital Era”, which equips African entrepreneurs on pertinent Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) topics.
She was selected for the Financial Mail’s “Little Black Book” of 2016 as a young emerging leader. Furthermore, she is an MC, moderator, speaker and chairperson for various conferences, with a key focus on technology. She chaired the Banking Transformation Africa Conference, the inaugural Cyber Tech Africa Conference in Rwanda for the Women in Cyber Security Panel, and many other conferences in South Africa and other parts of the continent.
Her passion for entrepreneurs has led her to Judge Africa Business Heroes for the Jack Ma Foundation as well as Flourish Africa, Folorunsho Alakija’s platform to empower women in Africa. Her debut book was titled: Cracking the Gentleman’s Code: A Guide to Becoming the Job 29 Man. She also runs the “Discover the Hero In You” mentorship programme at her alma mater Nkholi Primary School in Soweto
