Project Name/Description:
Professional Production Administrator
Khanyisa Baloyi-Maphori is a solution-driven professional production administrator who is deeply passionate about healing the hearts of women. As an entrepreneur and author, she has written two books, Restored and Love After Brutal Torture, both of which draw inspiration from her personal experiences with love and the various incidents of abuse she has endured. She is also the founder of the Big Sister Anti-Bullying Organisation, which focuses on promoting sports and fun activities for children.
Baloyi-Maphori has always been aware that her love for helping others would be a fulfilling pursuit. However, she never anticipated that it would lead to her becoming an author. Her journey into writing was further validated when the Gauteng Department of Education recognised her talent, selecting her as one of the Young Writers for 2023/24. Her book, Restored and Love After Brutal Torture, was even considered for use in secondary schools.
In addition to this honour, she also won the Best Writer Award at the Turfloop Awards in 2023. “I am still hoping for more achievements, not for my personal gain, but to amplify the voice of healing through writing,” Baloyi-Maphori expressed.
