Despite the numerous challenges faced by women, such as limited resources, gender biases and emotional stress, Tshivhase has successfully balanced her career with her commitment to community development. She holds multiple degrees in engineering and health sciences and is currently pursuing a master’s degree.
Working full-time as an engineering manager hasn’t deterred Tshivhase from driving innovation and positive change in her community. Drawing from her personal experiences as a survivor of gender-based violence (GBV), she has become a passionate advocate for GBV awareness and mental health support.
Through her book, The Untold Stories of SHE, Tshivhase uses storytelling to empower others by sharing her journey, which has been marked by significant hardships. Her story exemplifies possibilities, prospects and potential, all aimed at creating a world filled with blissful smiles.
In addition to being an award-winning philanthropist, Tshivhase leverages her storytelling abilities to inspire others through motivational speaking. Her non-profit organisation focuses on mentoring, coaching, career guidance, charity work and various other community initiatives. She is also an entrepreneur.
“My advice to women is to follow your passions with dedication and resilience. Embrace education and continuous learning and use your experiences as sources of strength. Build a support network, seek mentorship, and stay committed to your goals. Your drive for self-improvement and impact will lead to meaningful change,” Tshivhase said.
