Ms Bakery, Director and Entrepreneur
Lungile Mthimunye, a 24-year-old passionate entrepreneur, is the director of Ms Bakery, a thriving business that produces and sells a variety of breads, cakes, cookies and other baked goods. In addition to offering custom orders, she occasionally serves delightful coffee to her customers. Together with her business partner, they have successfully expanded their operations to employ one additional person.
Ms Bakery plays an important role in the community by providing convenient and delicious food options for meals, snacks and special occasions. The business also shows promise for further job creation in the future.
Mthimunye is also an ambassador with The Mentorship Academy and has participated in the Aspire Institute’s stage 3 programme, where she earned a certificate in Leadership from Harvard University. In 2022, she served as a Global Education Ambassador and was the country coordinator for South Africa in the Global 2023 Education Ambassador Programme.
Driven by a passion for helping those in need and empowering women, Mthimunye works to promote a sense of self-worth and the ability to influence social change. She fulfils these roles as the current ambassador at Sez Foundation and as a director at Khwezilokusa Foundation.
