Project Name/Description:
IT lecturer, personal development practitioner and researcher in cloud computing, cyber security and technology in education
Kutloanong in the Free State has gifted South Africa one of the most talented and driven women in our IT sector, criss-crossing several disciplines in the sector, while positively impacting people’s lives.
Moloja, affectionately referred to as Princess Dee by those close to her, has over the years, unselfishly so, brought her expertise in education and empowerment in communities that called for someone with her characteristics.
She is a believer who always sees the best in people when others don’t. As such, her voice has been that of hope, personal development and the repeated emphasis on the importance of education.
Moloja founded Heart of Joy, an NPO that has been a beacon of change, aiming to create transformative experiences and lasting improvements in the lives of the communities it serves.
The organisation has focused on designing and implementing a range of dynamic programmes to address various social issues and foster holistic development. It leads initiatives such as the “Woman of Impact”, “NKOSAZANA”, “Man of Impact”, and “Mjita, Let’s Talk” programmes.
Moloja says: “We solely aim, with these initiatives, to inspire men, women and our youth to embrace their potential, overcome challenges, and endeavour to make meaningful contributions to society.”
She also runs an initiative of a self-discovery tour for young girls in grades 6 and 7, added to this is the Varsity Connect Tour, helping matriculants apply for university admission and guiding them toward appropriate career choices.
