Mpume Ncube-Daka is an internationally accredited executive and leadership coach who originally aspired to study medicine and become a doctor, but later shifted her focus to accounting. She holds multiple degrees from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, including a bachelor’s degree in economics and business finance as well as an MBA.
Ncube-Daka firmly believes in the power of empowered women coming together to share their expertise and life lessons, which can lead to extraordinary outcomes. She exemplifies this belief through her distinguished career and success in the corporate world, creating a ripple effect that inspires others to bring about positive change.
With nearly 30 years of experience, Ncube-Daka has held various roles in finance, marketing, business strategy and product management. She has worked for multinational and JSE-listed companies such as Unilever, Nestlé, MTN, Ericsson and the MultiChoice Group, where she served as a business strategist for several years before branching out on her own to further develop her executive business leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
Over the past 20 years, she has held senior management positions, focusing on delivering robust business strategies and driving significant business growth through thought leadership.
As part of her commitment to giving back to communities, Ncube-Daka offers mentoring and advisory services to young professionals and those undergoing major career transitions. She does this through organisations such as MultiChoice, African Lawyers Alliance, Impact Her Africa, International Women’s Forum for South Africa and the Women’s Empowerment Network of South Africa.
