Familiar individuals try to hide behind masks
Last Saturday, Shwa hopped out in her mask to The Masked Singer Wrap Party in Sandton.
Everyone came out all disguised wearing masks and all thinking yours in gossip would not spot them, but that’s part of the suspense of the actual show, right?
Nonetheless the night was attended by quite a few familiar individuals, and it’s a pity that the weather just changed, scrapping chances of watching the final episode outside with a beautiful view of Sandton.
Anele Mdoda, Shwa just wants to commend you for the beautiful work that you have put together as we end off Women’s Month. Many can be inspired by you in the creative industry because you really are building a legacy for your son, Alakhe. All that travelling you do, the early mornings and the late nights, are certainly not in vain. Hopefully Shwa gets to see you as part of Sunday World’s Heroic Women next year.
By the way, please let Shwa in on your secret, cos baby girl, you are looking snatched up. Loved the orange number you had on. How thoughtful of the team to appreciate Alakhe for the sacrifices he makes by borrowing everyone his mom. How I wish someone would do the same for Shwa’s little one, because that kid hardly gets time, with his mom constantly chasing gossip.
Shwa spotted Gomora actor Ayanda Daweti, who rocked the ever so famous Grasshopper shoes, which took Shwa way back in time.
The laaitie is quite a friendly person; it’s clear he didn’t let fame get to his head.
Comedian Mpho Popps Modikoane was the host of the night, and you probably know how that went … jokes and shade throughout the night. It’s quite evident that the man is raking in the coins because the suits he wears scream “I have money now”. Please share some tips with Skhumba Hlophe?
Sithelo Shozi came out dazzling in a sexy black number with sequence. Baby, did you have another wardrobe malfunction, because why did you end up borrowing someone else’s jacket? But congrats on securing your first professional job. Looking forward to seeing you in season two.
Katlego Maboe, if there is one person who does not care about what people say on the socials, it is you. Big ups for going out there although you were trending for wrong reasons. Chin up and weather the storm despite whatever is going on.
Kurt Darren, boy, were you a mystery to guess! Who would have thought you were behind the Rhino mask?
Lady of the moment Holly Rey, darling, yours was not so hard to guess cos nobody has legs like yours. For someone who pays attention they would have guessed it from the get-go.
Maps Maponyane, Shwa really did not know that you could hold a note. Why did you rock up alone and not with your girl Shudufhadzo Musida? It would have been good to see you two officially make a public appearance.

Shwa also spotted Zanele Potelwa, Noni Khumalo and rapper Zingah.
It was a fun night out.
