Jailbirds driving Baas John up the wall
Shwa initially laughed off Kenny Kunene and Gayton McKenzie’s dream of leading the Patriotic Alliance (PA). It was hard to imagine the two ex-jailbirds becoming politicians, considering their reputations for raunchy nights out.
But damn, the PA’s staying power has had Shwa pleasantly surprised, especially with how well the party has carved a name for itself among some voters.
One person who gets sleepless nights from the PA is John of the Western Cape, who also poses as DA leader.
He complains that the PA and other parties threatening to eat his lunch in Western Cape cannot be trusted because they are thieves; ditto the DA’s Western Cape premier, Alan Winde. In an effort to retain voter support and counter pressure from the likes of PA, the DA recently started giving away party-branded dog food and gemorlene.
As observers noted on X, there is a serious “Winde” of change blowing in the southernmost tip of the SA.
