More to leadership than slay queens and bullying – just drop the mic, Duma
Siboniso Duma would have been misjudged by the fairer sex as a hunk when he was elected as chairman of the ANC in KwaZulu-Natal in July 2022.
Apparently he was then and he is now a common feature at the Gateway Mall in Durban, always surrounded by slay queens. Anyone but the pint-sized Sihle Zikalala was a breath of fresh air, anyway.
Or at least Shwa thought so, just like Zuma, who was terrible until Cereal happened. Now the warmongering Duma has started showing his true colours, and it has been a slippery slope since.
He has made several blunders that embarrassed his party and the province. His lack of better judgment and decision-making are his undoing. Dare we say this turns him to be ineffective as a leader. He should be removed from the post.
Last weekend, he took his penchant for shaming the governing party to an all-time new putrid level.
Disrespecting iSilo by snatching the microphone from the king’s prime minister is no way to win ANC votes. ANC, be warned, Duma’s childish stunts will cost you electoral support in KwaZulu. He should step down, or the ANC should fire him.
His lack of leadership skills has caused him to be unable to guide the province in times of crisis, leading to political chaos.
