Shwa headed out to the première and screening of Netflix’s iNumber Number in downtown Johannesburg.
If you’re a big fan of iNumber Number you would recall that this is a follow-up to the one we had in 2013, which was another version that gave so many actors – such as Zola Nombona and Sdumo Mtshali – an opportunity to showcase their talent after the Class Act competition.
MC of the night was none other than Warren Masemola, who was on the previous version. As usual, he cracked jokes here and there.
I know South Africa is only good when it comes to crime and sex in the media, but the movie is worth the watch but only if you’re not going to be comparing it to the first version.
There are quite a lot of twists and turns, and it’s obvious from the beginning who’s corrupt, but the acting and production is fire.
Shwa was quite puzzled about many things such as to why there was a hyena-man, I mean let’s try to be realistic, hey. It just didn’t land, but regardless of the role, Bongile Mantsai always nails his controversial roles.
Hands down to the person who was flying the drone in the movie; they deserve a raise.
I love how they also gave rising star Noxolo Dlamini a lead role and Mxolisi Nodom, who is paving the way for deaf actors.
Thespian Brenda Ngxoli made a comeback on the acting scene as a corrupt cop who would do anything to get what she wants. Shwa is super proud of mommy.
Hope you’re enjoying motherhood, congratulations once again.
Moi also spotted the legendary Presley Chweneyagae and Shwa has no doubt that the man is good at what he does, but I hope you’ve sorted out your papgeld
issues.
Anelisa Phewa, where in the nine provinces have you been hiding? Shwa last saw you in 7de Laan. It was good seeing you out and about.
Shwa also spotted Israel Matseke-Zulu, Candice Modiselle, Rami Chuene, Siv Ngesi, Primo Baloyi, PD Jokes, Rosetta Ncwana, Vusiwe Ngcobo, Melusi Mbele, Andile Nebulane, Donald Nkomo and Mohale Motaung.
