Elections are around the corner; our so-called governing ANC politicians have started playing mind games. Not so long ago in the Western Cape’s Boland region, ANC MP Supra Mahumapelo told party members that when party deployees turn rogue and steal public funds, society should spare the ANC and put the full blame on the thieves. He said “lastig” (troublesome) ANC members should be compared to biblical Jonas, who was sent to Nineveh to preach but took the opposite direction. Don’t fall for it.
