End-of-year burnout is fatigue that manifests itself usually in November or December. Taking vitamins intravenously (IV) has become increasingly popular because of efficacy and quick results.
Unlike oral supplements, which take time to absorb and can lose potency during digestion, vitamin drips deliver essential nutrients directly into the bloodstream. This ensures maximum absorption and immediate benefits, an excellent option for those seeking a rapid energy boost.
Fatigue is a very common condition
In today’s fast-paced world, fatigue is more common than ever before. Whether trying to keep up with daily demands or battling chronic tiredness, finding an effective solution can be a challenge.
Human Resources Generalist Tsametse Nkuta is the Chief Operating Officer of IV Vitamin Therapy Lounge popularly known as IV Zeal. The franchise business owned by black females is available in eight locations across Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
Nkuta told Sunday World that she was inspired by her professional and personal journey in mental health, to get into this new popular business venture. The venture has been running since 2020 and during the Covid-19 pandemic, the business did exceptionally well.
Proactive attitude towards health
“I got into the business because I witnessed employees suffering from things like fatigue or burn-out and seeing how not taking care of personal health can be detrimental. My own personal mental health… I suffered from burn-out, depression and anxiety. So obviously, when this opportunity presented itself, it aligned perfectly with my values, with what I believe about taking a proactive attitude to towards health and wellness,” said Nkuta.
The IV therapy industry has become common and Nkuta said competition is inevitable but what is important is to focus on how the business differentiates itself.
“You need to create a brand that focuses on the care of its clients. Our brand is basically focused on offering a service and promoting a lifestyle of health and wellbeing and balance. What differentiates us from the rest is that we not only just let clients come in, but we also have personalized drips.”
She further elaborated that they focus on each client’s needs and lifestyle. The nurses then need to know each client’s lifestyle and how they can help improve it.
