As a newly appointed Head of Department, Nel is excited about the position he occupies. This helps him reinforce what he believes in: creating greater platforms where one can share knowledge and be impactful. He uses every opportunity that comes his way to groom others and uses social platforms and titles such as Sir South Africa. He also does charity work, and his learners help in some of the outreach programmes. “
