Another woman’s life has been ended ruthlessly after her body was found dumped in the bushes at the weekend.
She had been missing since June.
According to reports, Bayanda Neliswa Vimbela from Lusikisiki in Eastern Cape was mercilessly killed by unknown people.
After she was reported missing over a month ago, her lifeless body was found with some of her private parts disemboweled.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli confirmed the gruesome discovery and said the police are investigating a murder case. No one has been arrested yet.
“It is alleged that a pedestrian frantically stopped a police patrol vehicle travelling on the R61 near a fuel station. The pedestrian led police to the body of a woman lying in the bushes. That is how Vimbela was found,” said Nkohli.
She leaves behind her two sons.
The discovery of Vimbela’s body follows the rape and murder of a Fort Hare graduate Nontokozo Mokae, who was laid to rest on Friday.
Mokae from Keiskamma-Hoek in Eastern Cape was attacked by men who sexually forced themselves on her and later killed her.
She was found laying helplessly by passersby outside her home last week and later succumbed to her injuries in the hospital. No one has been arrested for the rape and murder of Mokae, who graduated recently and started working as a teacher.
