Dukwana ‘wanted to leave a mess for successor’

Ousted Free State premier Mxolisi Dukwana has been accused by ANC provincial executive committee (PEC) insiders of trying “to leave a mess” after proposing the party reduce the number of government departments on the eve of the announcement of a new premier.

Sunday World has learnt from ANC provincial executive committee insiders that Dukwana convened the meeting after attending interviews for premier candidates at Luthuli House on Monday.  Dukwana was interviewed with two other candidates and rivals MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae and Dibolelo Mahlatsi-Mance.
