Pearl Thusi says FW De Klerk doesn’t deserve a state funeral

Johannesburg- Pearl Thusi has had a lot to say about the passing of FW De Klerk.

Pearl Thusi took to social media on Thursday to share how she felt about the passing of the former President.

“I feel a bit weird to celebrate any one’s death. I’m indifferent about him being dead or alive. Maybe he was already dead to me because I’m definitely not sad,” she wrote.

“This headline is upsetting because this guy, till he died, insisted that partners wasn’t a crime against humanity. And released Madiba under duress. The Nobel peace prize was a scam to look unified.”

Pearl further on spoke about how she would react should FW De Klerk’s funeral be a state funeral.

“If FW DE KLERK gets a state funeral… That will be a huge middle finger to the people who suffered under the apartheid regime in this country.”

“In fact we must disrupt that funeral if it’s declared a state funeral. There’s just no way,” she wrote.
