Johannesburg- Eskom has announced that it will implement Stage 2 blackouts from 11 am on Wednesday.
Eskom says this is after further breakdowns of generating units last night.
Eskom is pleading the citizens to reduce their use of electricity and switch off any non-essential items.
The blackouts are to continue until Monday morning.
Following further breakdowns during the night, Stage 2 loadshedding will be implemented starting at 11:00 on Wednesday until 05:00 on Monday pic.twitter.com/BM6PLebuQs
