Former South African medical doctor Lauren Dickason has been found guilty of murdering her three daughters in New Zealand.
This after the jury reached a majority vote on Wednesday, according to media reports in New Zealand.
In 2021, Lauren Dickason admitted to killing her daughters, two-year-old twins Maya and Karlo and six-year-old Liane.
She, however, pleaded not guilty to murder charges by reason of insanity.
The children’s bodies were found laying lifeless on their beds by Dickason’s husband when he returned from work.
The Pretoria family emigrated to New Zealand and had just completed their hotel quarantine in Auckland a week before the horrific killings.
It has been reported that Dickason will remain in the hospital until the court hands down the sentence.
Dickason’s parents Wendy and Malcom Fawkes, who attended the court proceedings, blamed mental illness for their daughter’s evil deeds.
