Lubner made a life and a legacy for what he gave SA

Maya Angelou once said: “Just do right. Right may not be expedient, it may not be profitable, but it will satisfy your soul. It brings you the kind of protection that body­guards can’t give you.”
 
Marc Lubner’s demonstrable life gives effect to the African adage that human greatness lies not in wealth or power but in character and goodness’. His bone-deep passion emanates from a family legacy of recognising that if your neighbour is hungry, you cannot sleep at night!
 
That if we all want good, peaceful and sustainable lives, this can only be assured if others around us are sharing the gift of life. It is not sustainable when the majority of people are not participating in the economy – not even reaching their full potential.
